Seats afford little leg room but plenty of options to move around or sit on the embankments. Food and drink readily available and acceptable prices. Option also to leave stadium and visit the city for food, then return back in which is good. All staff very helpful and friendly, sun tan cream was available for all. Children got involved with the cricketers, which was great to see, and a great family day out. Sivasankar Sivapragasam Petaling Jaya, Malaysia 53 contributions.

It was a great opportunity to see the stadium outside. Quite under maintenance and repair. The interior setting seems to be similar with Reserve Basin in Wellington. I enjoyed watching cricket at this venue.

The main drawback was that the stands were more square on to the wicket than would have been expected for the most expensive tickets.

The main drawback to this venue was that there was very little shelter when the rain arrived as it did on three days out of five. Ross 1 contribution. We have been coming to this ground for years, always enjoyed the atmosphere, facilities, and the locality. We arrived for the 2nd Test vs England and went to our normal parking area along Bryce Street to find it reserved for "Permit Holders" so had to park 30 minutes away from venue.

Very dissapointing and there were many disgruntled fans. Dont think we will be back. We attended the Test match v England here, having travelled from the UK. We had gone to the first ever Test at Mount Maunganui, and the facilities there were far superior to Seddon Park: very diverse food and drink offerings, plenty of toilets. At Seddon Park we paid extra to sit in the stands. The gate closest to the stands is exit only, so we were directed to the main entrance, then told that to reach our seats we had to walk three quarters the way round the ground by which time we had completed a circuit of the ground.

Few toilets - the most obvious were two thirds the way round the ground, although some other temporary ones were available a bit closer, but poorly signed and with no running water if you wanted to wash your hands. Limited shade Food offerings poor, drinks? OK if you wanted beer or fizzy drinks, but no juices or iced tea. I did try to buy some fizzy drinks, but although the eftpos accepted credit cards, it rejected mine, and the salesman said it didn't take credit cards Is Seddon Park complacent as an established International ground?

Lovely setting but Mount Maunganui beat it hands down: better and more numerous food and drinks outlets, all of which take credit cards including non-NZ cards , more and better toilets, ability to walk round the whole ground whilst watching the cricket and thus not having to walk three quarters of the ground to access your seat Seddon Park has potentially a terrific venue, but needs to think about its customers.

We were both really disappointed. Pandalings 15 contributions. Top class women's and men's cricket.
